The prostate gland helps make some of the fluid in semen, which carries sperm from your testicles when you ejaculate. So you can imagine what sort of problem an enlarged prostate will do to you when you try to urinate or have sex. Typically, you won’t see these problems until you’re 50 or older, but they can start earlier for different men.
